Educational Qualifications upto 02.04.2021
Candidates to be eligible for the post of Maintainer (Post Code- NE 02, NDO3 & NE 04) must have ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in specific trades only, Candidates having higher qualification viz BE/B.Tech/Diploma etc but not having ITI in specific trades, are not eligible for these posts of Maintainer.
The candidates while applying for the posts should have minimum educational qualification as per the notification as on the closing date of notification.
Minimum marks in the required educational qualification for various categories will be 60%% for candidates applying for UR, EWS & OBC vacancies and 50% marks for candidates applying for vacancies reserved for SC/ST.

B.E./B.Tech. Electrical/Electronics/Electronics Communication/or equivalent from a Govt. recognized minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC vacancies and with minimum 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC only.
FOR Non-Executive
1- Station Controller cum Train Operator (#SCTO)=186
(UR-76, EWS-18 OBC 50, SC-39, ST-3, Women- 37*, Ex.SM9*, Dependent of Freedom Fighters-3*)
Three years Engineering Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/institute with minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC vacancies and with minimum S0% marks for reserved vacancies of SC/ST only.
2- Maintainer(Electrical)=52
(UR-22, Ews -5, OBC 14, SC- 10, ST-1, Women-10*, Ex.SM -2*, DFF-1)
ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Electrician trade with minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC vacancies and with minimum 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC/ST only.
3- Maintainer (S&T)=24
(UR-11, EWS-2, OBC6 , SC- 5, Women-4*, Ex.SM- 1 )
ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Electronic Mechanic trade with minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC vacancies and with minimum 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC only.
4- Maintainer( Civil)=24
UR-I1, EWS-2, OBC-6 ,SC-5, Women-4*, Ex.SM-I *)
ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in Fitter trade with minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS/OBC vacancies and with minimum 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC only.
MODE OF SELECTION
For the post of Assistant Manager/Operations (post code-E01), the selection methodology will comprise two -stage process - Written Test followed by document verification & medical examination in Executive (Technical) category.
For the post of Station Controller cum Train Operator (post code-NE:O1), the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process - Written Test, Psycho Aptitude Test followed by document verification & Medical examination in Aye-one (A-1) category.
For the post of Maintainer (post codes NE-02., NE-03 & NE-04) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process Written Test followed by document verification & medical examination in Bee-One (B-1) medical category.
Written Test: objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for the posts will be held on one or more days. Question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi It will consist of multple-choice objective type questions to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline.
(i) There will be a total of 140 questions for categories E-01 & NE-01. Each carrying equal marks.
(ii) There will be a total ot 100 questions for categories from NE-02 to NE-04. Each carrying equal marks. (
iii) There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer's marks will be deducted.
(iv)The Paper shall be of 02 hours duration.
